There is not a leash law in Baldwin County, however; there is a containment law.
This means that your dog must be
contained on your property.

The Perdido Beach Halloween Festival seeks a chairperson for the 2010 Halloween Festival.  Please contact our secretary  HERE  if you are interested in heading up this long-standing Perdido Beach tradition.

Article III of the By-Laws sets forth the organization purposes.
 
They are (1) to encourage measures that seek to maintain and improve the residential character and tradition of the area,
 (2) to promote a sense of community spirit and cooperation among residents,
and
 (3) to assure that the community is well informed about issues that affect the well being of Perdido Beach residents and property owners.
Meetings of the Board of Directors are held at such time and place as determined by a majority of the Directors.
Annual Membership Meetings are held in the month of May.

Ownership and Voting Rights Membership is based on property ownership within the Perdido Beach community.  Residence and Voting Rights Membership is based on Perdido Beach community residential status. (By-Laws Article IV).
 
The "Perdido Beach Community" is the general area within the Perdido Beach Fire Jurisdiction.

The Baldwin County Bookmobile now stops at the Perdido Beach Volunteer Fire Department! Come on down and check out new books, books on tape, music CD's and DVD's. The bookmobile will be at the fire department every other Tuesday from 11:45 to 12:45. The next bookmobile date is October 27, 2009.

Josephine has a problem with abandoned dogs in the neighborhood.  Some concerned citizens have formed a Lost Dog Committee to find homes for these abandoned dogs and would like to establish contact with like-minded residents of Perdido Beach.
